About Valorie Clark Photography

I’m Valorie, the lead photographer of Valorie Clark Photography (as the name would oh-so-cleverly suggest), and I proudly photograph courageous couples, funky weddings, and iridescent individuals in the D.C. area who want to push their own edge, go beyond the norm, and have some gosh darn fun with themselves and their environment — usually in the name of splashily spectacular, powerfully priceless, extraordinary, one-of-a-kind, uncustomary and unique photos that make a STATEMENT. And a striking one at that.

Why?

Because while tried and true is nice — it can also, unfortunately, be tired and trite.

Photography is an art form, and should be treated as such — as its own magnificent masterpiece, just like you are as a person. And at the heart and soul of my work, that’s why I do what I do — to highlight and freeze frame the parts of you that are uniquely you, in the here and now, and give you a way to remember those pieces of you, forever and always.

You may grow older. You may evolve. You may change. And you may get wiser.

But no matter who you become, you’ll never, ever forget who you once were.
